NEW: Added Automatic Mandrel Support
New automatic mandrel support is added to CNC Processor.
New Mandrel Support Enable in Tool Menu
New Low Level Options for Mandrel Support
- Command Name - Mandrel Support Up: This is the COMDEF name for sending the mandrel support UP. CNC Bender uses this in the manual page.
- Command Name - Mandrel Support Down: This is the COMDEF name for sending the mandrel support DOWN. CNC Bender uses this in the manual page.
- CIO Name - Mandrel Support Output Down: This is the CIO output for sending the mandrel support down. CNC Processor uses this to send the Mandrel support down automatically.
- CIO Name - Mandrel Support Output Up: This is the CIO output for sending the mandrel support up. CNC Processor uses this to send the Mandrel support up automatically.
- CIO Name - Mandrel Support Input Down: This is the CIO input for checking if the mandrel support is down. CNC Processor uses this, if present, to stop the AUTO process if the Mandrel support does not signals down when it should.
- Mandrel Support Input Check Pause Timer - This is a millisecond pause timer that pauses before checking for the mandrel down input active. The maximum value is 1000 milliseconds.
- Mandrel Support Buttons Hide - This allows you to hide the manual page buttons in CNC Bender.
New Mandrel Support Positions Values
CNC Bender Low Level now lets you set the positions of the mandrel supports based on the speed of the carriage moving backward.

New help files for the c:\cnc\config\help folder are included to support the new mandrel support options:

ENHANCED: Manual Page Die Motion Interlocks Changed
- Interlock removed: The Pressure Die Timer interlocks are removed. It is now possible to move the Pressure Die in TIMER mode regardless of where the CLAMP die and extra horizontal clamp die actuators are.
- Interlock removed: Clamp can now open if Extra Clamp present and PD not open
- Interlock removed: The clamp can now close before the PD closes
- Interlock removed: The extra clamp can now open regardless of where the PD is.
