CUSTOMER ISSUE
The customer could not get any laser data into VTube-LASER.
OUR DISCOVERY
The FARO driver has a new Movement Filter option that has an impact on scanning whether or not is enabled.
OTHER ACTIONS
The customer calibrated the ball probe (it passed spec) and then calibrated the laser probe. It did not pass spec. However, it did calibrate to 0.0675 mm (0.0027") - which is very good for tube fabrication. The customer saved the calibration results anyway and continued.
Since the probes were recalibrated, it was also necessary to re-establish the CUT PLANE.
RESULT
VTube-LASER now scans the 5 mm wire with no problems.
