Contents

Check.jpgENHANCED - FASTER USER INTERFACE

VTube is now faster due to some important changes to the user interface.

Check.jpgFIX - SOLID MODEL IMAGE PRINT IN REPORTS

VTube is designed to handle multiple displays.

We discovered that, for windows arrangements where the Windows Desktop is not on the far left monitor, VTube might not print the graphics image properly in reports.

This has been fixed in this version.

Check.jpgNEW - SEPARATE PERSPECTIVE MODES FOR STEP and LASER WINDOWS

In previous versions, there was only a single Perspective Mode switch.

In this version, there is a separate Perspective Mode switch for STEP and LASER windows.

Check.jpgNEW - REQUEST REVERSE CALC WHEN EXITING THE LRA GRIDS

When you edit the data in the LRA grid, VTube-LASER now assumes that you probably mean to perform a reverse calc.

If you exit the grid without a reverse calc, then it will immediately ask if you intended to perform a Reverse Calc - and allow you to choose to calculate the XYZ data.

This is active in both the MASTER and the MEASURED LRA grids.

Check.jpgFIX - REPAIRED LOSS OF ORIGINAL ORIENTATION DURING REVERSE CALC

VTube always attempts to keep the original XYZ orientation when you perform a Reverse Calc from LRA to centerline XYZ data.

We discovered that certain situations would cause VTube to lose the orientation during Reverse Calc.

This has been fixed in this version.

Check.jpgFIX - BUILD TO TUBE TO SOLIDWORKS

VTube would incorrectly build a single tube to both a single part drawing and a SOLIDWORKS assembly.

Since VTube is building a single tube in SOLIDWORKS the best action is to always build a single part drawing.

The build logic has been fixed in this version.

If there are multiple parts in VTube, then VTube will still allow you to choose between building all the parts into one drawing, or building all the parts into a SOLIDWORKS assembly.

Check.jpgNEW - BEND-TECH 7X IMPORT

BEND-TECH changed the data file format when introducing version 7. Now VTube can import the new 7x format as well as the older version 6 format.

Check.jpgNEW - DENGLER VDS IMPORT (XYZ Data)

VTube can now import DENGLER VDS files. (DENGLER VDS files contain centerline XYZ coordinates.)

Check.jpgNEW - DENGLER VDS EXPORT(XYZ Data)

VTube can now export DENGLER VDS files. (DENGLER VDS files contain centerline XYZ coordinates.)

Check.jpgNEW - MINIMUM CLAMP LENGTH

VTube has a new Minimum Clamp Length field in the Part Setup menu.

If any bender data length is shorter than the minimum clamp length, then VTube will now issue a warning in the header above the viewport.

Check.jpgNEW - ZERO-DEGREE BEND ANGLE WARNING

If any bend angle is less than 0.1 degrees, then VTube will now issue a warning in the header above the viewport.
