Check.jpg BUILD 1 - NEW: PARTIAL VTUBE PROJECT IMPORT

You can now import the MASTER tube data from VTP - VTube Project files.

This allows for the import of older VTube-LASER project files without changing the measuring center setup for newer versions of VTube-LASER.

Check.jpg BUILD 2 - IMPROVED: REVERSE CALC

In previous versions, when performing REVERSE CALC from bender data to centerline XYZ data, VTube-LASER could not keep the previous part orientation in 3D space when the first leg ran parallel to the Z axis.

The part data on the right shows the first leg moving positive only in the Z axis. This is an example of data that could not be handled during reverse calculation.

The math engine has been improved to handle this condition.

Check.jpg BUILD 2 - NEW: DATUM REPORT TEMPLATES - MEASURED Distances to MASTER DATUM

Previous versions of VTube could only display DATUM reports with MEASURED-ALIGNED to MEASURED-ALIGNED DATUM or MASTER to MASTER DATUM values.

Now VTube-LASER can show DATUM reports with MEASURED-ALIGNED distances to MASTER Datums.

To use these new report templates:

  1. Download these two new templates: Zip file of Measured to Master Datum Report Templates.
  2. Extract them to a folder location that you can find.
  3. Load VTube-LASER.
  4. Go to Reports.
  5. Click on the Templates tab.
  6. Click on Import.
  7. Find and click on the new Datum templates.
  8. Repeat at step 5 for the second template file.
