Check.jpg NEW: Select and Configure any number of Reports

The Report menu was redesigned so that operators choose from a list of report templates to show any one of several reports.

  • Edit the list (Add, Delete, Move the template up or down).
  • Edit any template in the included Notepad++ editor (installs with v1.63).
  • Explore the folder that contains the templates.
  • Give the report template a new name.
  • There is no limitation on the number of templates allowed.
  • The report template setup is stored local to the computer (not in project files).

Check.jpg NEW: Scan Rate Types: Timer or Distance

Now all scan rates are determined by either a TIMER or a DISTANCE.

For end-scans, use a timer and set the timer value to 0 milliseconds.

For cylinder scans, you can use DISTANCE and set the Cylinder Scan Distance to whatever value is convenient for separation.

Check.jpg NEW: Multiple Point Qualification End Scan

VTube-LASER now uses multiple points to qualify the end-scan. This gives it better protection against outlier points.

A new End-Scan Fit window gives information about how many points were used in the end-trim, and the span of all the point positions. Higher point counts with lower spans indicate a better data set for end-trim.

Check.jpg REPAIR: Diameter and Wall Detection for STEP Mode

See VTube-STEP v1.62 for details.

Check.jpg Other Changes

  • The A End and B End OFFSETs other than ZERO caused a problem where end-scans would never be qualified. This has been resolved in this version.

Check.jpg Issues with this version fixed in newer versions

  • No known issues
