TubeCAD can import TubeCAD files into an existing TubeCAD layout to make assemblies.




STEP 1 - Create Both Tubes in Separate TubeCAD Files

Create both layouts and save them to separate TubeCAD files.



STEP 2 - Load the First Layout into TubeCAD and Use the Edit Assembly

Load the file, then click on the Edit pulldown menu, then click on Assembly Setup.

STEP 3 - Click on Add Child

Click on the Add Child button to create a space in memory for a new child tube.

STEP 4 - Click on Load Child

The Load Child button will now enable.

Click on the Load Child to display a file dialog to load the second tube.

The New Tube Will Display

The new tube will show as imported when you close the Assembly Setup window.
