NEW FEATURE: RECALCULATION OF INCOMING STRAIGHTS WITH NEW CENTERLINE RADII

Blink chiyoda recalculate incoming lra.jpg

BACKGROUND

When importing Supravision data to convert to Chiyoda or Keins FPB Data, there is the potential for the following scenarios:
    1. The radius values in the Supravision data is slightly different than the radius values for the tools on the bender.
    2. There are more radius values in the Supravision data than the bender allows.

ISSUE

This creates a problem where the LENGTHS between bends that are converted to FEED data are no longer precise.

SOLUTION

The solution is for Benderlink to give the opportunity to calculate new FEED distances when XYZ data exists in the Supravision data.

HOW IT WORKS

    STEP 1

Open the import SV menu and press the Import Supravision button

    Blink chiyoda importsv.jpg

    STEP 2

Choose the Supravision file to import

    Blink chiyoda importsv selectfile.jpg

    STEP 3

Benderlink checks the number of XYZ points with the bend count

    Blink chiyoda XYZ data present.jpg

If there is a match (points = bends + 2) then this window is displayed.

    STEP 4

Examine and modify the radii values

    Blink chiyoda recalculate incoming lra.jpg

You can change any radius values found in the Supravision data by checking the check box, then entering a new radius value in the right box for each radius change.

    Blink chiyoda radius change row.jpg

    STEP 5

Press the green CHECK MARK button to close and continue

Blink chiyoda recalculate incoming lra greenbutton.jpg

This closes the window, replaces the radii values, then performs a new XYZ to LRA calculation.

Click on the red X button if you want to cancel the selection and calculation.

    STEP 6

Continue with the conversion of Supravision LRA to Chiyioda/KEINS FPB data

    Blink chiyoda importsv reset.jpg

    STEP 7

    Conversion Message will be displayed

    Blink chiyoda importsv complete.jpg

The conversion message will be displayed in the log in this menu. The conversion is complete

REPAIR: SKIN HANDLING

    BACKGROUND

Benderlink skins its interface as of version 5.82 (June 1, 2007)

    ISSUE

Previous versions of Benderlink assumed that skin data would be loaded into the c:\skins folder. However, the Benderlink installation file installs the skin data in the skins folder under the Benderlink folder.

This would cause the Benderlink interface to display without proper skinning on new installations.

    FIXED

This problem is fixed as of this version of Benderlink.

UPGRADE
