Motion-recovery is the ability for CNC Bender to temporarily pause motion with CYCLE HOLD or entering a safety device, like stepping on a safety mat, then start finish the motion when CYCLE STARTING the bender.

Old Behavoir

CNC Bender attempts motion-recovery in every mode - even MANUAL mode.

New Behavoir

CNC Bender no longer attempts to recover motion from a pause state (CYCLE HOLD is activated) in these circumstances:

  • When the operator presses any HALT button.
  • The bender operation mode is in MANUAL or is entering MANUAL mode.
  • The bender has encountered a FAULT condition and motion is stopped.
  • The bender has encountered a command that is timed out and motion is stopped.
  • The E-Stop is pressed and released, and motion is restarted. (This is the same as previous versions.)
