This box connects using:

* RJ-45 ports - Ethernet cable converted to serial using RJ-45 to DB9 converters

* The RJ-45 ports connect to a four-port Quatech PCI board ([http://www.quatech.com/catalog/rs232_pci.php Model: QS-PCI-100])  The serial cables run from the RJ-45 ports to the COM ports on the measuring center computer.

Description

This is a four port module that was designed for connecting a Benderlink computer or measuring center computer up to four Eaton Leonard benders.

Productivity Benefits

See Benderlink Current Loop Module page for a list of productivity benefits

Installation Location

This module is typically placed near the Benderlink computer which acts as the measuring center side of the connection. The module can also be attached to any measuring center using Supravision software.

About the Connections

  • FOUR RJ-45 ports - This allows for use of standard ethernet cable converted to serial using RJ-45 to DB9 converters (supplied with the module)

  • FOUR Military Connectors - These connectors follow the legacy Eaton Leonard style connection. You can connect standard communications cable with circular connectors at either end.

Inside the Module

This is an image of the inside of the module. It contains four of our current loop boards, one power supply, and all cabling.
