FIX- MTA (Measured Tube Averaging)

We discovered that the MTA feature would record all the tubes and build he average in Tube Data Storage, but would not copy it into main memory. This has been fixed.

NEW - AUTOMATIC OFFER TO COPY MEASURED TO MASTER IF NO MASTER IS PRESENT

We had the opportunity to measure a customer's inventory of over 130 parts in a reverse-engineering project. We discovered that pressing Data Handling, then pressing Copy Measured to Master after every measure became tedious and easy to forget. So we added the feature that detects empty MASTER data and offers to copy the MEASURED data automatically after a tube measure.

FIX- FLOATING CONTROL-WINDOW ISSUES RESOLVED

Floating windows could sometimes get locked behind the VTube-LASER screen. We have found and resolved the issue to this problem. The floating windows stay on top when the VTube-LASER window has focus.

NEW - USER INTERFACE CHANGES FOR MEASURED TUBE AVERAGING (MTA) FEATURE

The MTA feature now tracks and reports the number of tube measures previously measured in the tube measure control. MTA now also automatically enters the number of measures in the MTA averaging dialog.

NEW - TUBE MEASURE CONTROL WINDOW: BUTTONS HIDE AND DISPLAY BASED ON THE CURRENT MODE

The control buttons at the bottom of the tube measure window now hide or display depending on the context. This keeps a user from accidentally pressing a button that will not be appropriate in the current measuring context.

NEW - "RADIUS ZERO FOUND" WARNING

VTube-LASER now warns of a ZERO RADIUS in the tube data.

NEW- SUPRAVISION-STYLE REPORT TEMPLATE

We've added a new Supravision-style report template.

NEW- EXTERNAL RESOURCES for HTML REPORTS

This is a low-level feature that lets you add external images and CSS files to the report engine in a way that allows them to follow the report to whatever location the report is exported to. Please check with us for an explanation of how this list works if you plan on adding your own logo or graphic to the reports, and you want to export reports to other locations on your network.

FIX - COLLECTED LIST ITEMS AND MODEL SELECTION

This is in the VTube-STEP window, which is included in VTube-LASER. The collected features in the MODEL can now be selected in order to highlight the correct item in the Collected Features List. Click on the image to see the video of this feature working.

FIX - DELETE COLLECTED FEATURE ITEMS PROPERLY

This is in the VTube-STEP window, which is included in VTube-LASER. The collected feature items can now be deleted at any time. Click on the image to see the video of this feature working.

NEW - IMPORT SMI TXT FILES

This is in the VTube-STEP window, which is included in VTube-LASER. VTube-STEP can now import SMI TXT files.

NEW - HIDE GUIDE BOX in STEP MODE

This is in the VTube-STEP window, which is included in VTube-LASER. A customer that is not used to the Guide box is requesting the ability to permanently hide the Guide box in VTube-STEP mode. We've added a HIDE option in the User Interface tab menu inside the System Options menu.

FIX - SMALL GUIDE BOX

There is a SMALL GUIDE box switch in System Options. This feature did not always work properly. Now display a small version of the guide box if you choose to.

NEW - JAPANESE LANGUAGE FILE UPDATE

The Japanese language file has been updated.

OTHER CHANGES

New report commands allow for the new report export feature and the new Supravision-style Tube Inspection report. We swapped out the configuration-storage engine with a better one to solve minor issues in saving persistent configuration files.
