Build 89 - ENHANCED: NEW SCANNER CONTROL BUTTON

To make entering the FARO LLP Control window easier, we added a button called "Scanner Control" above the viewport.

Build 89 - ENHANCED: DRO DISPLAY MOVED SLIGHTLY LEFT

We observed users clicking on the arm connection LED, then dragging the DRO slightly left off of the LED after connection was made. This now happens automatically that users don't have to drag the DRO off of the connection LED.

Build 88 - FIXED: REPORT WINDOW DISPLAY

The Report Window did not always display on top of the main VTube windows in build 87. This was fixed in build 88.

NEW: INCREASE LRA ROW COUNT in BENDER SETUP for EXTRA OPERATIONS LIKE END TRIM

The LRA ROW COUNT in Bender Setup can now be increased in order to allow for extra operations at the end of the bender cycle. Since the Bender Setup window contains its own separate bender data, these extra rows will not interfere with measurement or alignment to the master data in VTube-LASER. For example, this two-bend part, after adding a row, changed from three LRA rows to four LRA rows. The added row has a new 2 inch leg for end trimming. You can manually adjust the distance in the extra row for clamping the tube for trim marking. The manually entered data in this extra row is saved in the project file and will load when the project is loaded again.

NEW: MULTISCREEN SUPPORT

In previous versions, VTube could only be run from the main screen without issues. For example, report images would only print properly if VTube was running on the main screen. Now VTube-STEP and VTube-LASER supports multi-screen setups.

NEW: VTube-LASER WINDOW NOW MINIMIZES TO TASKBAR

In previous versions, the VTube-LASER window could only be minimized as a reduced window in the lower left corner of the screen. Now VTube-LASER minimizes to to the taskbar - just like the VTube-STEP window minimizes.

FIX: IMPORTED MODEL DELETION ISSUE RESOLVED

VTube would randomly delete the imported model after a parametric data build. This has been fixed.

ENHANCED: MOVED BENDER SETUP CORRECTION DAMPING TO TAB MENU

We moved the CORRECTION DAMPING feature in BENDER SETUP into its own tab menu to save screen space.

NEW: Addata ZModem Communications Protocol

We've added an Addata ZModem communications protocol also known as the Addison "Non-Standard Device Interface".

This protocol allows you to setup the COM port configuration to match the configuration at the other end of the serial port connection. Set the protocol to Addata ZModem, then click on the COM port cell to display this COM port configuration dialog. See VTube-LASER Addata ZModem Communications Protocol for more information.

ENHANCED: NUMALLIANCE BENDER OUTPUT HANDLES 180-DEGREE BENDS

OUTPUTS 180-DEGREE BENDS The NUMALLIANCE CSV export now compresses SPLIT BENDS into a single 180-degree bends during export to the NUMALLIANCE CSV. OUTPUTS SPRINGBACK-COMPENSATED DATA The NUMALLIANCE CSV export now includes springback-compenstation if you choose that option during export.

ENHANCED: SUPRAVISION IMPORT HANDLES DATA WITH NO CENTERLINE XYZ POINTS

VTube requires XYZ coordinates for the parametric tube data. However, some Supravision files contain only bender data with no centerline XYZ data. VTube now detects this situation and automatically reverse-calculates to create a new set of XYZ data when necessary.

ENHANCED: DOCS IMPORT SETS THE PART NUMBER to the INCOMING FILENAME

Previous versions of VTube would use the actual DOCS part number of "Part 1", "Part 2", etc., in the VTube Part Number. A customer that imports DOCS files into VTube requested that the VTube Part Number be set to the incoming filename. We made this change in this version.
