Moving the Tube for longer Parts

  • When measuring long tubes, it may not be possible to reach the full tube without moving the arm or tube. The steps below show the process of measuring and moving a tube to produce measured data. This process is not as accurate as using Leapfrog but can still be used to measure long tubes.

  • Any number of moves can be combined to measure any distance.

Start a Tube Measurement

Begin measuring the tube. Once the arm can no longer reach the next straight, press the Move button in the guide box. This move function appears after measuring at least 3 straights.
