Helling Spray

Very thin coating Designed for laser scanning Cleans with a dry rag. Is not as dense as Magnaflux or Dynaflux. The goal of the spray is to break the reflectivity - for which a complete coverage is not necessary. $300 per case of 12 cans (January 2021) See 3DScanSpray.com

Foot Spray

Works less well than other sprays Inexpensive Does not cause an allergic reaction like the flux types below. Much less messy than alcohol and powder. Cleaning with a wipe is easy. Is not as dense as Magnaflux or Dynaflux. Thick coating is not necessary. The goal of the spray is to break the reflectivity - for which a complete covering is not necessary. Not the best odor - smells like foot spray, which may be a problem for some users.

Dynaflux DF315-16 Crack Check D-F Developer Works well DF315-16 Flammable Nuclear grade uses non-chlorinated solvent DNF315-16 Non-flammable Standard grade Very inexpensive ($5 per can) For applications that require cleaning, the corresponding cleaner uses the same Dynaflux part number. May cause an allergic reaction in the skin of some operators
