Helling Spray

Very thin coating Designed for laser scanning Cleaning with a wipe is easy. Is not as dense as Magnaflux or Dynaflux. Thick coating is not necessary. The goal of the spray is to break the reflectivity - for which a complete covering is not necessary. See 3DScanSpray.com

Foot Spray

Inexpensive Does not cause an allergic reaction like the flux types below. Much less messy than alcohol and powder. Cleaning with a wipe is easy. Is not as dense as Magnaflux or Dynaflux. Thick coating is not necessary. The goal of the spray is to break the reflectivity - for which a complete covering is not necessary. Consistent levels of coating, however, is preferred. Magnaflux and Dynaflux (see below) excel in consistency.

Dynaflux

Dynaflux DF315-16 Crack Check D-F Developer Works well DF315-16 Flammable Nuclear grade uses non-chlorinated solvent DNF315-16 Non-flammable Standard grade Very inexpensive ($5 per can) For applications that require cleaning, the corresponding cleaner uses the same Dynaflux part number. May cause an allergic reaction in the skin of some operators

CerMark LMM6000

CerMark LMM6000 Laser Marking Spray This spray is used in additive laser bonding processes. Works well as it is not as messy as foot powder. Drys like paint - but washes off with water. Very expensive ($75 per can)
