Foot Spray

  • This is our preferred solution.
  • Inexpensive
  • Does not cause an allergic reaction like the flux types below.
  • Much less messy than alcohol and powder.
  • Cleaning with a wipe is easy.
  • Is not as dense as Magnaflux or Dynaflux. Thick coating is not necessary. The goal of the spray is to break the reflectivity - for which a complete covering is not necessary.
  • Consistent levels of coating, however, is preferred. Magnaflux and Dynaflux excel in consistency.

  • The alcohol evaporates quickly.
  • Is more messy than other solutions because it tends to drip.
  • It is hard to keep the mixture correct.
  • The end result is often an inconsistent coat.
  • Cleaning with a wipe is easy.
