Check.jpg NEW: SEND and GET Buttons

Blinkel v4-20080909 send get.jpg

The SEND and GET buttons are now easier to see and understand than in previous versions. This will help the operator choose the correct button the first time.

Check.jpg NEW: Open Folder Button

Blinkel v4-20080909 open folder.jpg

The Open Folder command allows you to open any data folder, then drag and drop a data file into Benderlink for EL. Benderlink accepts filenames with $$$, EL, and MES (Aicon) filename extensions.

Check.jpg NEW: FILENAME ASSOCIATION

Now you can double click on any $$$, EL, or MES file and automatically open Benderlink with that file data loaded.

Check.jpg NEW: Drag and Drop Files

You can now drag and drop data files into Benderlink.

Check.jpg NEW: User Interface Skins

New skins are available: WMP 2008 and Beijing

Check.jpg UPDATE: Support Files Updated

The following support programs were updated in the setup program:

Pingtest.jpg

  • HDD32.exe (HASP Hardware Key Installation Driver)
  • KeyCheck.exe (v6)
  • PingTest.exe

Check.jpg CHANGE: Benderlink NO Longer Minimizes to the Notification Area

Minimizing to the notification area of Windows (lower right corner) was less helpful than we had planned. In some cases it was confusing. The operator would believe that Benderlink was no longer running when it was. So we've removed that feature.

Check.jpg REPAIR: Benderlink Now Handles EXTENDED Eaton Leonard Data Properly

The previous version would not handle EXTENDED data properly. Extended values would appear as 0.000 in the log when they had been edited to some non-zero number. This issue is now repaired.

Check.jpg ENHANCED: Benderlink Now Verifies the Presence of Sub-folders

Some sub-folders are necessary for Benderlink to run and store information. These folders are now verified every time Benderlink is run.
