The Premier is a well-known bender control designed by Eaton Leonard. Every Premier control has communications capabilities embedded and switched on.

The image on the right shows an Eaton Leonard bender control. It is a DOS-based computer in a Rittal enclosure. In the 1990s and on, this is probably the most prolific control in the world:

This control uses an electronic communications protocol that Eaton Leonard refers to as "Current Loop". VTube-LASER measuring center software can communicate with Premier controls using current loop electronics inside a Benderlink Ethernet Module.
