A CNC Bender Feed axis jog that occurs after a bend is complete and the dies open. It's purpose is to clear the tube from the bend die by moving the tube slightly forward before the bend arm returns, the radius shifts, or any other feed or rotate motions occurs.

The Eaton Leonard term for this is Y Clearance.

In CNC Bender, the Post Bend Jog is controlled with two values: The ENABLE switch and the DISTANCE.

Why Have ENABLE and DISTANCE?

QUESTION: A Post Bend Jog of zero units is effectively DISABLED - so why have an ENABLE switch also?

ANSWER: We opted to keep both options so that operators can store any distance value persistently - even if the option is disabled. This allows an operator to use the stored distance with a simple ENABLE of the option.
