I get a lot of questions about the notebook:  It's an AMD dual-core Alienware MJ12 that is very-very fast.  Alienware is known as a gaming computer.  This was one was designed and sold for business use.  However, it is still the preferred gaming computer in the family.  By the way, if you're looking for extremely portable, as in, slim and light - don't consider this notebook.  We are careful to point out that this is not, with its four high-performance cooling fans, and hot CPU, a "laptop" computer.  It is a BIG notebook.

However, it is still the preferred gaming computer in the family. By the way, if you're looking for extremely portable, as in, slim and light - don't consider this notebook. Owners are careful to point out that this is not, with its under-the-hood high-performance cooling fans, and hot CPU, a "laptop" computer. It is a BIG notebook.

At the Cone's house, we have a long IKEA table that wraps around two walls in what was historically called the "dining room." Now it's the "computer" room. Maybe we should call it the other "family room" since our family spends so much time here. We seat four people with four separate computers on this desk at the same time.
