We're on the second floor of the Rankin Biomedical building just off I-75 in Holly, Michigan.      This is a rural area surrounded by Michigan state parks.  The westward view out the window is is very nice - especially in the fall.

At the Cone's house, there's a long tall IKEA table that wraps around two walls in a computer room.  It can seat four people with four separate computers on this desk at the same time.

Michael Cone's Main Computer

Alienware mj12.jpg

This is Mike's main computer

According to Mike, "this computer gets a lot of stares and questions when I setup shop in the middle of a factory. It's extreme gloss paint finish and the glowing Alienware logo are hard to miss." (Its glossy paint is much better looking in real life than in these images.)

It's an AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core Alienware MJ12 that is, of course, very fast compared to our other computers. Alienware is known for gaming. This one was adapted for business use.

Alienware is careful to avoid the word "laptop" when referencing this computer. It is a BIG 17 inch wide notebook.
