Summary of Enhancement Information

  • This version retains both the XYZ and YBC data intact. There is no forced conversion in one direction or another between the two data types.
  • Now ALL data found in an FIF file is converted to the Supravision format.
  • Distance data can be automatically converted to the other unit (Millimeters to Inches, or Inches to Millimeters).
  • Improved error handling.

NEW Conversion Features

XYZ DATA

In addition to the XYZ points and bend RADII:

  • NEW - Properly skip REFERENCE points in the XYZ data. (Reference points are not intersection or end points. They are not used to define the shape of the tube.)

  • NEW - Retain XYZ data as it exists in the FIF file. No longer attempt a recalc from YBC to XYZ. This allows measuring centers to be sure to retain original XYZ MASTER data during conversion.

YBC DATA

  • NEW - Retain YBC data as it exists in the FIF file. No longer attempt a recalc from XYZ to YBC. This allows measuring centers to retain original YBC bender setup data during conversion.

VELOCITY DATA

  • NEW - Conversion of YBC axes speeds: 1 - 8

FUNCTION DATA

  • NEW - Conversion of all YBC FUNCTION Bits (12345678)

SPECIAL FUNCTION DATA

  • NEW - Conversion of all YBC FUNCTION STOP and LAST Bits

PROCESS DATA

NEW PROCESS VALUES CONVERTED:

  • NEW - Default Radius (from first radius level)
  • NEW - End A Diameter
  • NEW - End B Diameter

TOOL DATA

Handles Up to 9 Radius Levels - EACH LEVEL can contain:

  • NEW - Radius
  • NEW - Fixed Springback
  • NEW - Proportional Springback
  • NEW - Clamp Length
  • NEW - Clearance Feed
  • NEW - Clearance Angle

MACHINE DATA from EL Setup Data

  • NEW - Ymin
  • NEW - Interference Zone 1
  • NEW - Interference Zone 2
  • NEW - Load Position
  • NEW - Load Offset
  • NEW - Y Position Tolerance
  • NEW - Pressure Die Open Code
  • NEW - Boost Delay

NEW MACHINE DATA from EL Extended Setup Data

  • NEW - Up to 99 EXTENDED setup values are automatically converted

Automatic Conversion of Units

Fiftrans4 convertunit.jpg

NEW - All distance values can be automatically converted to the opposite unit during conversion.

Note: This does not apply to the EXTENDED Setup data, as Supravision does not attempt to convert these values between units.
