Check FARO Driver Version for Windows 11

The latest approved drivers are 5.8.3.2 or 5.8.5.2.

Follow these steps in Windows 7 to check your current FARO USB Driver version.


Step 1

Click on the start button.

Click on Control Panel.

Step 3

Set the Control Panel to Category View. Click on the "Uninstall a Program" link.

Step 4

Find the FARO USB driver version in the "Uninstall or change program" list.

The latest approved drivers are 5.8.3.2 or 5.8.5.2. Please do not use 5.8.4.5.
