CUSTOMER ISSUE

The customer could not run the VTube-LASER installation file.

OUR DISCOVERY

The customer shared this with us:

"With the installation challenges we had, I thought I would let you know what the correction was to get the latest update installed. There were changes made to the way Symantec handles the download and install of updates. Before it would allow the program to install, it HAD to be downloaded to any of our network drives before it could be recognized as a "safe" program, despite the exceptions created within Symantec (though the exception was still needed anyway). So, even though it passed security and was allowed to download on the computer itself, it had to pass through additional checks showing it was safe for our network before the "exe." was allowed to run. Once we moved it and launched it internally, it ran."

OTHER ACTIONS

The VTube-LASER installation program needed to be saved on one of the network drives before it could be run on the VTube-LASER computer.

RESULT

The VTube-LASER installation file now runs on the customer computer.
