Check.jpg UPDATED - The Embedded VTube-STEP is Now Version 2

The previous Benderlink had included version 1.99. This change to VTube is a huge time-saver. Customers that have tested this feature report that they are very happy it.

The new Path Manager allows you to store and recall complex file paths from VTube without having to constantly drill down into folders and paths.

The window displays when you open projects and perform imports. It also opens when you perform a Save As project.

Check.jpg NEW - Quick Com Check

The Quick Com Check lets you check to determine if a bender will respond much more quickly. It asks for the drawing numbers only - which speeds up the communication.

The second benefit is that you can view what drawing number is currently in any channel on the bender.

Check.jpg ENHANCED: Auto Save All Channels - RETRY and Auto COPY Name Change

The Auto Save All Channels feature lets you transfer all two channels of part data to unique Benderlink channel files.

It is significantly improved with these features:

  • If a communications error occurs, now Benderlink will close the Com port, then allow you to RETRY communications starting at the channel that failed. This saves a lot of time by skipping the download of all previously built channel files.

  • If a channel file already exists when the new file saves, then Benderlink will automatically add a "Copy" and number to the end of the file. This prevents channel file overwrite - and helps you know that there are X number of copies for that part name on the disk.
