Check.jpg FIXED: Teach Mode and Custom Commands Issue Solved

If you have a hand-bender controlled by CNC Bender and you use custom commands for the ROTATE axis, then this upgrade is important to you.

Custom commands can be entered after every bend in the FRB page. SMT discovered a that FEED and ROTATE commands would not be completed properly when coming out of a custom move.

  • For example, the ROTATE was programmed at 90 degrees. The custom move is 89 degrees - so the finish up command should be set to 1 degree to come to the full 90. However, the finish-up command was 90 degrees - which caused the rotate to move to 89 + 90 = 179 degrees.

  • This problem occurred on benders where the ROTATE axis is set to a non-standard machine axis 3 because the machine axis number "2" was hard coded into the process list builder.

  • Process list builder now has logic that anticipates that the machine axis number for any motion actuator can change depending on the application.
